Cool fresh air on warm days
A simple method of providing cool fresh air on warm days. The unit is normally mounted externally on a rooftop of sidewall but can also be mounted internally with fresh air ducting to the outside of the building. It sucks air into the unit using High Efficiency EC fans. As the air enters the unit it passes through a set of saturated pads. This process causes water to evaporate and in doing so extracting the energy from the warm air leaving it fresh and cool at the discharge from the unit. The air is then ducted into the building / room as required.
Airflow Services Ltd. supply and install evaporative cooling units which operate on this basis. The system offers a huge savings with investment payback in months rather than years.
Eco Cooling: Why consider evaporative cooling ?
Equipment is available across a wide range of sizes and specifications. We can design and specify a system tailored to meet your requirements. Further information is available on our Products and Services pages. Our Gallery and Testimonial pages have information on completed projects.
If you have a cooling application either existing or new please contact Airflow and we would be happy to discuss how we can reduce your cooling energy costs.
Trend MicroCase Study
One system required 30 Kw of cooling to permit the required environment that their large server room demands. The second system requiring 20Kw needed to provide clean, fresh, cold air to one of their IT rooms.
