Various different Chillers

Air cooled chillers are most frequently used in the chilled water market. Out of its wide range of chillers in cooling only or heat pump version, with or without integrated hydronic components, Daikin always offers you a chiller fitting your application needs.

  • Mini Chillers
  • Air Cooled Chillers
  • Water Cooled Chillers
  • Condensing Units
  • Condenserless Units

Mini Chillers

  • Inverter technology ensures: continuous match of requested load; excellent part load efficiency (ESEER up to 4.68); significant reduction of starting currents; precise temperature control (evaporator leaving water)
  • Low operating sound level
  • Daikin scroll compressor
  • Wide operating range
  • Integrated hydronics
  • Three phase power supply and main switch included
  • Easy ‘plug and play’ installation

.

Air Cooled Chillers

  • Optimised for use with R-407C
  • Daikin scroll compressor.
  • Reduced installation time thanks to integrated pump and/or buffer tank.
  • Possibility for a 200l buffer tank.
  • Low operating sound level.
  • Easy maintenance.
  • Main switch.
  • Water flow switch.
  • 3 different design options available:
    • EUWAN chiller without integrated hydraulic module;
    • EUWAP chiller with integrated hydraulic module (pump, expansion vessel, hydraulic components);
    • EUWAB chiller with integrated hydraulic module (buffer tank, pump, expansion vessel, hydraulic components)

Water Cooled Chillers

Daikin offers you compact water-cooled chiller units which required only very limited space. Used for commercial or industrial applications, these chillers generate cold and hot water, which can be used for chilling, heating, or even both at the same time.

  • Cooling range: 369–1,050kW
  • Super high efficiency: EER up to 5.8; A class energy label
  • Very high EER values at part loads condition (ESEER up to 7.4)
  • 1 and 2 stepless single-screw compressors
  • Optimised for use with R-134a
  • Flooded evaporator
  • Expansion valve with liquid level control
  • All models are PED pressure vessel approved

Condensing Units

he condensing units can be used in a wide variety of air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation applications.

  • Wide capacity range from 121 to 488 kW
  • One refrigerant circuit with single screw compressor
  • Compact design
  • Large operation range (ambient temperature down to -18°C)
  • Connectability with Daikin AHUs
  • Extensive option list (heat recovery option available)

Condensorless Units

Daikin offers you flexible and compact chillers with remote condenser, which can be used to satisfy applications with special requirements in the field of available space, sound level or extreme operating conditions. In these exceptional cases, remote condenser solutions can be preferred over standard air-cooled or water-cooled solutions.

  • All models are PED pressure vessel approved
  • Daikin semi-hermetic single screw stepless compressor
  • Optimised for use with R-134a
  • Advanced pCO² DDC controller
  • Standard moisture indicator
  • Standard victaulic joints
  • Low operating sound level – extra low noise option available
  • DICN (Daikin Integrated Chiller Network) operation as standard within same series
  • Double refrigeration circuit (from 360kW on)
  • Chilled water temperatures down to -10°C on standard unit (parameter in the service menu of the PCO² digital controller must be set by the installer)
  • Modular design

Choosing the best suitable system

To make the best decision on what chiller is the best for your needs you have to consider facts such as:

  • At what load is your site running at? Partial or full load?
  • How many hours per day do you require the system to run at?
  • Are you interested in investing in a product that will run for longer and save money over time?

We can answer these questions for you and help you pick the right chiller for your needs, be it efficiency, cost or overall power.
